Job Title: Lead, Services Coordinator 

 

Location: Early Development Network (EDN), Teacher Administration Center (TAC), 3215 Cuming Street, Omaha NE

 

Reports To: Special Education Coordinator 

 

Work Schedule/FLSA Status: 261 duty days - 12-month / Exempt

 

Salary Schedule: OSAA Level 2 / commensurate with education and experience

 

Position Purpose: 

The Lead Services Coordinator is responsible for providing supervision to the services coordinators in the Early Development Network which serves students with disabilities or developmental delays, ages birth through two years old. This person will help plan and present professional development to staff. They will work closely with the services coordinators, and other team members including families as they develop goals and empower parents as they address the concerns and needs of the whole family.

Performs other related tasks as assigned by supervisor and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Equipment: This position may require the ability to use basic office equipment such as computers, copiers, scanners, and fax machines. Must always comply with OPS’s guidelines for equipment use.

 

Travel: Regular travel in the Metro area will be required.

This position is treated as a full-time exempt classified position. The terms of your employment will be governed by applicable state laws regulating employment in a Nebraska public school and Board of Education policies, as those laws and policies may change from time to time. If your position is represented by a collective bargaining representative, then your employment will also be governed by a negotiated agreement between OPS and that collective bargaining representative.
