Early Childhood Home VisitorGrant Funded Position - Castelar Elementary (Bilingual required)

 

The home visitor will implement the birth – age 3 home visiting component for the Superintendents’ Early Childhood Plan,   The home visitor will serve a caseload of 15-20 children.  Hiring and direct supervision will be conducted by the building principal in collaboration with staff from the Buffett Early Childhood Institute.  Funding is provided through the Learning Community of Douglas and Sarpy Counties.

Additional Considerations

The home visitor position is a full time/full year (12 months) position that completes job responsibilities within a flex schedule that best meets the needs of the families/children enrolled, the staff and the school.  This may include late afternoon or early evening home visits, parent-child group activities, or other meetings.

Work Period:  12 Month - 261 days / Flex Schedule

 

 

Terms of Employment

This position is treated as a full-time non-exempt classified position. The terms of your employment will be governed by applicable state laws regulating employment in a Nebraska public school and Board of Education policies, as those laws and policies may change from time to time.
